Matt Ten Clay:
I'm Matt, Matt Ten Clay. I grew up in Holland, MI- a small conservative town which was a little too pleasant. The lack of excitement pushed me to a city that was more radical- Grand Rapids, MI. This move occurred at age 24, with myself and a close friend who shared this common vision of pushing ourselves beyond simple living and thinking. The year that followed only encouraged our creative thinking, we moved to a neighborhood where gunshots are more commonly heard than the all-to-used-to church bells.

This EP, "The Frantic Few" has been done through an awakened pair of eyes and ears. Sitting next to my guitars and in front of a window to the outside world, I see things I've never been exposed to before. One of the busiest corners in Grand Rapids brings about a lady-gone mad who awakens people every single day chanting words on Muhammad, Allah, and Jesus ("Busy Streets" intro), car accident after car accident, cats having at it at all times of the night, and the endless honks of cars, gas fumes, and further sensory stimulations which can overload one at times. "The Frantic Few" is my take on society during these times, mostly all times, with continuing chaos, and the furthering of human craziness into an eternal loop of eventual extinction.

The sounds and sights of city living from a bedroom window can be monotonous and can understandably drive a person mad. The music being created by me is somewhat psych or drone rock, with certain points that seem to have no effect on most people unless driven over and over into the skull. I have written, recorded, and produced these songs from this 12x8 bedroom. I now have a band in place and we are beginning to play some solid shows. Simple, powerful, and fun is the name of the game.

Nathan Kalish + WF:
The music: Bursting with rock 'n' roll energy, Grand Rapids' Nathan Kalish takes a Replacements-like approach on his debut CD recorded at Caveman Studio. From "White Lines" to "Lord," the album "is a breath of life into the casket of what has become rock 'n' roll.

Julio Gomez:
"Tongue in cheek, attitude...Americana .  Release the Ancient Demons bridges the gap between Americana and punk rock. Packed with guts, twang and the spirit of not giving a fuck, this record will make you break out your old Dead Milkmen LPs for certain.  This record is haywire, dirty and real sexy. If your girlfriend is a puck rocker, keep her away from the Caveman Records boys - she'll be sure to break your heart in favor of them. Nu-metal, emo and the crybabies are dead. Rock is back in this town, and as for the sophomore class, these guys are the captains."

One of Caveman Records many talented recording artist. Stay tuned for more information on Benjamin's upcoming release.
